Erasmusfontein, South Africa – A Farmer (female) was almost shot dead when a farm worker attacked her. Heilie Labuschagne’s daughter in law in Erasmusfontein luckily escaped without harm when the gun failed to shoot twice. She was heading for Bloemfontein when she forgot something in her house before leaving, upon fetching it a farm worker pushed her in the house. He had stolen her gun out of her handbag that was still in the car.

Just yesterday government blamed farmers for the farm attacks.
Johannesburg, South Africa – Parts of Johannesburg shook this morning when a minor tremor started shaking the ground just after 7pm. Residents felt the earth moving for a few seconds and some stressed that it might be shocks before a big earthquake comes.
On the earthquake monitors we could not spot any alerts so this might of been something other than a earthquake. Johannesburg has a record of big earthquakes but that is in the area of Roodepoort and Krugersdorp while this tremor or very small earthquake was more to the center of Johannesburg.
The last big earthquake to strike Johannesburg was in 1970 and that was 5.4 magnitude earthquake. There were others but the 5.4 was the biggest recorded one we could find.
There were earthquakes on the bellow five magnitude in central Johannesburg, the last big one was a 4.5magnitude on March the 16th 1966 or the one just outside in Bedfordview on March 27 1973 which was a 4.9 magnitude.
Tim Urban has not been one of my favourites but I really do not think he deserved to go this week. He has been growing much more than many of the other contestants that is still there. His mistake was picking that song, he was hardly audible at places and as Simon said it was rather disappointing. Tim was really moving up and I think the girls will miss his smile but I am sure we have not seen the last of smiling Tim.

It has been a while since there has been a Brendon Fraser movie worth watching, mind you not that there is anything wrong with him as a actor, he just tend to pick the worst type of movies. Most of them are low budget and the plots are similar to sitcoms. Along with him was cast Brooke Shields as the leading lady. This might not be the comedy of the year and probably most adults will not want to watch it but this is something that is definitely family friendly.
A real estate developer Dan Sanders (Brendan Fraser) is employed by Neal Lyman (Ken Jeong) a ‘green’ developer. Dan is relocated to Oregon from Chicago to oversee the building of a major housing development in the middle of a national park. His wife Tammy (Brooke Shields) and their son Tyler (Matt Prokop) does not believe that this development is the right thing never the less Dan moves them into their new home when the animals of the forest start seeking revenge.

Cape Town, South Africa – Jacob Zuma might find himself in a surprise soon and see himself being voted out the same way that Thabo got voted out. Julius Malema might be the president of South Africa before the end of the year.
On RSG there was a debate about Julius Malema’s support and that Julius malema and Jacob Zuma is sitting on the half each mark when it come to support. That means they both have equally big support in the ANC and because of Jacob Zuma’s fooling around giving the ANC a bad name things are turning out to be really good for the black supremacist, Julius Malema.
So time will only tell if Julius Malema will be “Julius for president” as he sings his “kill the boer” songs and blames white people for the failure of the past 16 year of government that cant deliver their promises they made to those that got them in power.
The entire Pretoria police "force" will be watching over 5000 – 10000 taxi protesters. The National Taxi Alliance is striking today in demand to be included in plans for the 2010 World Cup that kicks off in just 50 days.
The protestors will move to the Union Buildings in Pretoria where they will demand a few other things as well including that government stop harassing taxi drivers.
The National Taxi Alliance general secretary however said that it is not a strike but rather a march to the Union buildings.
In his turn to speak at the EU parliament Andrew Brons said that Europe is being ethnically cleansed of all Europeans and being replaced by people from 3rd world countries.
He says if Europeans are replaced by people from 3rd world countries then Europe itself will one day become a 3rd world country.
He also said that distinctive cultures are the products of people not the other way around.

Oceans is documentary made by Disneynature, directed by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud who braved the deep waters to bring the world this one of a kind underwater film. Last year Disney brought us Earth on Earth Day showing us the world from a new perspective, from natures viewpoint. For a year they followed three different families in three different worlds making a documentary that watches like a movie.
This year they bring us Oceans to celebrate Earth Day by showing us a world right next to ours that a very few has access to or has ever seen. The ocean is like a alien planet overflowing with life and danger. The focus is on the five oceans of the world, what can be found in them and each oceans unique existence. Oceans was captured by the latest underwater technologies and narrated by Pierce Brosnan.
Oceans offer a new look beneath the sea in a powerful motion picture that will be released on 22 April 2010

The internet is being secretly censored, country by country they sneak in the "web filter" to protect children from pornography as they claim. The reality is that like China, all other countries are going that route.
We can understand if China feels like censoring reality from their citizens because they are a communist bunch anyway but what about the rest of the world?
Imagine the riots if it were said that tomorrow the entire internet would be behind a censor, protecting people from the harsh and cold internet. Whoever wants the entire internet censored knows this, that is why the strategy of going country by country works better.
We all know the famous poem by Pastor Martin Niemöller where he says :
"THEY CAME FIRST for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.
THEN THEY CAME for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.
THEN THEY CAME for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.
THEN THEY CAME for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.
THEN THEY CAME for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up."
And what better way to censor the internet than doing it this way.
Talks are underway to censor both South Africa’s internet from "harmful" contents and Ireland is seeing the same thing just months after Australia and New Zealand decided to join the communist internet. Then we have not even started with the UK.
Countries are all slowly moving to a "communist internet" whether we like it or not. Democracy has long been forgotten in this "new world" .

Iceland – This must be the world’s first volcanic rumor. Hekla erupted. Actually the truth is that Hekla could also like Katla erupt any moment but it has not erupted yet. Reports of the volcano exploding are false, or more of a misunderstanding.
The Iceland weather service accidentally looked at the wrong camera, instead of looking at Hekla it looked to that other volcano. People started tweeting that Hekla was erupting and journalists picked up on the story.
Hekla however has not erupted.
