1. Most people dont know that a survival knife is one of the most important things you need if lost in the wild.

2. Any knife can be chosen as a survival knife. Some are just really made to be used as a survival knife

4. Only the one side of a survival knife needs to be sharp, if both sides are sharp it can actually do more harm than good.

5. The best survival knifes are really plain, almost looks like a food knife.

    I agree, if you are lost in the wild and are lucky enough to have a knife with you then ANY knife would become your survival knife. But if you go there intentionally then nothing beats a knife made specifically for survival.
