Amatomu
The first three places you should submit your blog to when just started is Amatomu.com. Amatomu is the South African community of bloggers. You wont get traffic immediately but once again if you write good content the traffic will come. Amatomu is a great place to find other bloggers from South Africa to mix with and by mixing with other bloggers you might get readers for your blog as well. Amatomu belongs to Mail and Guardian, one of the biggest news sites in South Africa. Amatomu is still in its alpha stages but for a service that has gone that far and still being alpha I would recommend it. Imagine when they go to beta or even officially to version 1 if i may call it that.
The biggest tip for amatomu is to embed the code first and secondly choose the correct category for your blog otherwise things might come in the wrong category.
