Earlier when I mentioned dry, this is what I was talking about. As we went out of Greyton, one of the most beautiful town in South Africa we crossed a river and a just a few Km’s of driving we met the dusty gravel road. Thinking Riviersonderend is just around the corner we drove this gravel road for about 30km before eventually coming to the N2 and then Riviersonderend. Riviersonderend was a bit of a downer after being Greyton but at least we went through Caledon on the way back to Somerset West.
