I just thought about how certain town in Europe has to be bicycle friendly and that if you compare it with South Africa that we are a pretty bicycle friendly country considering you can drive on most sidewalks and only sometimes get arrested for driving over someone with a bicycle.

No seriously if you look at our roads you can almost say they are made for bicycles since you’d have to be on one to miss all the potholes. But except for that we have some nice and clean roads. Just think about the Uk and their small squished roads. You really need guts driving a bicycle in London. I guess I am so off topic right now but the point is that without crime South Africa would be a very bicycle friendly country.
