Blogging - How to get readers

This is one thing I have not done with this blog and which I will really have to change. Writing content for your users and instead of about yourself. I know I find it nice to share my thought since this is a blog and what you are supposed to do, but if you want readers and not just passers by you have to focus the content on them rather than on yourself. Is your blog useful for your readers and what quality does it give to those who read it? Do they find something interesting enough to come back to your blog? These are all questions you have to ask and I have not seem to do any of these. I am probably to lazy which I am going to have to change if I want a successful blog and not just sharing my thoughts.
