When you want a successful blog there will be a lot of waiting and blogging can become really painstakingly time consuming. But in the end it will be worth the wait.

When you want a successful blog there are a few things you have to wait for. I will try to explain some of them here.
Wait for traffic from Search Engines.

There are ways to get instant search engine traffic but for small niche blogs this might not be that easy. Especially if you have a very small niche blog. Waiting so long for search engines to send you some traffic can come very discouraging.  Most bloggers dont make it past the three month mark which is a sad thing considering the time people put into their blogs. Blogging should be fun and enjoyable. The problem with today’s bloggers is that they only start blogs to make money without enjoying what they really do. While few become millionares and few even make any money at all that leads to the shutting down and abandoning of blogs which then just becomes more internet clutter. If you have a niche blog that is mostly aimed for traffic from search engines and not social networking sites the best thing to do is just to write, write and write again.

Wait for subscribers

The second thing one has to wait for is a decent number of subscribers. Blogging is really a lot of work and when it feels like no one is reading all your hard work it becomes harder to keep going even though you might enjoy what you are doing. Blogging on your own and seeing that number of people subscribed to your feed through feedburner when it only says 0 can become really annoying and could also be the thing that makes a person shut down his or her blog. The fact is if you target search engines with a small niche and even a big niche its going to take time for people to find your site. It will also take time to communicate with other bloggers to get them to become a subscriber. One thing that works is competitions but then you still get those subscribers that subscribe not because of your content but because of your contest.

Wait for inbound links

Another thing we have to wait for when we blog is inbound links. Inbound links dont come easy and the more you get the obviously the higher you rate. But patients and endurance will ensure that someday people will start linking to you when you have enough content.

I guess there are more than only three but these three is what I could think of now. please leave a comment or join the feed.
