Blacklabelads makes more money than Adbrite but the reason for this is because people always want sex. That’s it. Blacklabelads and Adbrite is basically the same companie. It is the same company.

When you have a normal site people click on your ads and you make money. Hence if you have Adbrite you make money. But one thing about Blacklabelads is as I said they serve adult ads and obviously someone is more likely to click on a naked woman than … well most other things.

But before you rush off and post your site full of blacklabelads you should follow a few tips and know a few things.

Blacklabelads serve ads that PEOPLE make that also want traffic and money and not all ads are appropriate. But there is a way around this. You can still serve adult orientated ads on your site that is decent. The way you do this is not to let anyone advetise on your site through Blacklabelads but choose to filter ALL ads manually.

Having those filthy ads on your site can even drive away traffic, so be careful of what you use on your site.

Another factor for getting private advertisers on your site is to make the advertiser section stand out. Who wants to advertise and pay for their brand to get out if the ad cannot even be seen. So as I said, make that advertising place stand out and you will see more people flocking to the site to advertise.

Traffic. If you can prove to people that have a lot of traffic, that is probably the best and first thing they will look at. Traffic is what drives the money on the internet. You have no traffic you cant make any money. There is a rule. First traffic then money. Without traffic no one on the internet would make any money.

I read a lot of times about people struggling to make money on the internet because they are South African. And indeed most affliate companies do not really like us South African but you can make money with Google Adsense. Usually one goes for the place with the most advertisers. The only advertisers I have seen on Adbrite is two places that sells computers. You just dont get many South African advertisers on Adbrite.

Niche blogging is one of my favourite blogging topics. A niche blog is where you set up a blog about a certain topic, maybe a very small topic, a niche blog is basically a topic blog. Choosing a easy to rate for word or niche / topic to blog about is what you really want.

If there is a topic you have knowledge about, but its not a huge topic where there are already 100’s of small and big niche blogs about it, you might want to consider starting a niche blog about that topic.

Its really easy for a small nice blog to make money, but you wont make thousands. To make a lot of money online you need a lot of niche blogs. Niche blogging is fun and you dont have to blog everyday to make money online. Just once a week you could submit a new article to your niche blog.

Clixsense.com is the same but the plan is not to make you money, the plan is to make you think you will make money online but you have to pay them to have a premium account. Dont register there and waste your time. Clixsense.com asks to many questions as well.

Clixsense.com is just another scam where you pay them for a premium account so you can “make more money”. When ever someone says I have to pay them to get a premium account to make money I just move right on. But you wont see that when you sign up no.

Ok obviously I overdid the title but if something on your blog is not working simply remove it. Running ads on your blog for a week or two and if you still dont see any results remove them and replace them with something that will give your blog results. Blogging for cash is really not that hard but you have to know what you are doing and you have to enjoy blogging. The most important thing is to know that to make money online you will have to go through trial and error. Many times we will put someting on our blogs, see it does not work but not remove it. That is taking your loading time and visitors hate to wait for your site to load. Best thing is, if you are not using it, if its not usefull, if its not making you any money remove it.

A advertise page should be where you sell your blog’s advertising space and convince people why its a good idea to actually advertise on your blog. There you can place your Alexa rank, you PR and traffic stats to make it more inviting.

I just thought of a few things needed to make money online and would like to share it.

Patience

Working on the internet takes time, you have to wait for affiliates to come back to you, you have to wait once you’ve signed up at a place for them to approve you, you have to wait for search engines to scan your site and then you even have to wait for the search engines to send traffic. (if you dont socialize). You have to wait for Google to give you a pagerank and then you have to wait for a Alexa rating to get more advertisers to make you wait more for the money you will get in 3 months time after you waited for the advertisers

Waiting is part of the daily internet life. Especially in a country like South Africa where we have the worst internet connections in the world. Having a fast connection might help you a bit but you still need a lot of patience to be a full time money making blogger because things just dont happen overnight. Anyone can make money online if they have enough of this thing called patience.

Most blogs only last 3 months because people dont have patience.

There are so many examples why you need patience to make money online.

Traffic

Without traffic you might as well write a decent post on a piece of toilet paper and keep if for when you really need the toilet. Traffic is what drives money on the internet. The more traffic a site gets the more the site is worth. No traffic, no money. No matter what you have on your site, if you get traffic you can make money. Traffic is humans visiting your site. Not those nice people who leave you random links in your comment sections. No they are called bots. What you want is humans reading your content. And for that you need great content which I will come to later.

Time

Apart from patience you need time to write, socialize, comment, learn, research and once more write again, seo, analyze, get motivated.

Plan

If you dont have a plan, you wont know what to do next. Where you are going with your blog is a important thing to know. If you dont know where you are going how can you get there? What is your target or if you plan making a living online, how do you plan on getting there?

Stragedy

Stragedy is different from plan. Stragedy involves planning with a roadmap, how will this be done? The plan is the path to the end result but you still need a stragedy to get there.
Niche

Having a niche gives you something to target as well as a reason to advertise. If you have no niche you cant really advertise and get your blog branded. You need a slogan that says: this is what I do and what this blog is about.

Other bloggers

Without other bloggers you will not make any money online. Networking with other bloggers helps your blog grow as well as their blogs. Networking is what makes blogging work, without this one thing blogging would be kind of dull.

This will determine if you have a great blog or not. How you write it, how much time you put into your articles. Is it original? You need to make your content stand out from the rest. The design of your site matters. Are your ads well integrated? Can people find your rss button easy? Another thing that matters is how well your ads are camouflaged to not make your site cluttered. Your logo is also important for branding your site.

Rankings do matter, this is because most affiliate companies use rankings to choose who they would go with. The better your rankings the more work you will get

SEO

Search engine optimization matter because that might be the only way people will find your site and also the only way to turn those visits in clicks on your ads.

Knowledge and Passion

I would love to write about Tech stuff because I really like gadgets and stuff like that. But the problem is my knowledge of certain things that I like is not enough to write articles about the certain topic that would stand out. Thus I would be able to blog about it but not make a living of it.

It is possible to make money online if you live in South Africa. Today I tried to sign up at cx digital and my site got denied due to the fact that I am from South Africa. Now while there are a lot of places that let us South Africans sign up, like Google Adsense, there is still a lot of people that think only the USA has internet connection. For instance; Yahoo publisher network is only available to people from the USA. That is probably why Google is better than Yahoo because they realize that the rest of the world can also connect to the internet and they also want to make money online.
