First the few days ago when starting to learn Windows Vista on the new laptop it was working great.
Now i am starting to think of installing Ubuntu again. The only thing that lets me stay on Vista is probably Windows Live writer.
Tonight I was editing text files, working with xampp.
But this afternoon I was working with big files, the computer did not crash.
So now that i work with small text files it crashes. It just does not make sense.
The blue screens are starting to annoy me.
At least when Ubuntu crashes I cant say I payed a couple of thousand for it.

The photo was taken on the same day as the previous post. It was a bit misty though. If you usually look at these mountains they dont seem so big. Might be the fact that i zoomed in so much. Anyway, Gordons bay is still one of my favourite places to do photography.
You can check out Helderberg Photoblog which is also online and there are some more great photos of Helderberg.

I have been using Linux now for some time and really like it. So the other day I got a new laptop with Windows Vista and the so called ultimate edition. I thought I’d give it a try.
Windows Vista is however not that bad, well not as great as Ubuntu but you can use your windows programs again.
The problem comes when i want to install all those great apps i used to have in Ubuntu. I tried doing a search for recordmdesktop which is a great linux app for recording your desktop but for Windows i only find shareware and those trialware junk.
When i do the same search for linux, something like record desktop or capture or whatever all i get is FREE software and opensource which just makes life much easier.

The most annoying thing of this new operating system i am running called Windows Vista which i am sure you might of heard of before and i bet you are using it right now, well some of you anyway, is that fact that is comes with a 90 subscription of Norton to annoy you for up to 90 days after you have installed vista. Now what i cannot get about Packard Bell is that they give you two very swollen dvd’s and take about 5 hours to install their version of Windows with just about everything that makes a pc slow. Now dont get me wrong Packard Bell is my favourite brand for laptops, but when it comes to software, forget about it. So now I am sitting with a brand new slow computer because of Norton.

These are some of the best girl on girl pictures I have ever seen. It’s so hot these guys who shot these really knew what they were doing. Lucy Pinder and Sophie Howard make one hot ‘couple’ with their big tits and voluptuous bodies. Wow! enjoy I know I did.

This is Kleinmond beach. Kleinmond is situated about 15km from Bettys Bay and around 30km from Hermanus. Kleinmond Beach is one of the best beaches in the Overberg area. The beach streches to Hermanus. The tides and currents are quite strong and although many people surf here one should know how the currents work. Kleinmond Beach is joined with the lagoon. When I used to be small it was like a big river but it seems that it’s now a beach and the Lagoon and the Sea does not meet that much anymore. There is also a playpark with the old tree that has been standing there for ages.
Kleinmond is usually full of people in Decembers and most people come here especially for the beach.

Looking at this photograph you wont really think that Greyton is such a green town. This photograph was taken just outside Greyton and this gravel road continues for far. At the end it brings you to Riviersonderend. If you are on your way to George or Knysna however taking the road to Greyton and then this road to Riviersonderend will be more of a sightseeing drive and you can relax because on this gravel road there is almost no cars.

Some macro photography. This is strand beach when the sun sets. I tried to show the reflection of the sun on the wet sand with the waves of Strand beach in the background. This photograph is facing towards Cape Town, the gap you see there where the sun is setting is the other side of Camps Bay and those areas. Strand Beach according to me is one of the most photographic beaches in South Africa.
Strand Beach has one of the best sunsets in the world and together with Gordons bay is rated 3rd in the world last time I checked.

Greyton is a well known small town tucked away close to the overberg just before Caledon is a turn off that would lead you to this quite town. Property in Greyton is very expensive but its well worth it. Greyton is a very small town but with wonderful nature and a great history.
The photography in this post is that of a classic 1900’s house with thick brick walls that’s still hot in winter and cool in summer. Just like they made it in those day.
Greyton has 1 primary school called “Laerskool Uitkyk”. There was a bording school which I think has closed long ago.
Greyton also has a river flowing through or next to it where you can go take a swim or just go for a walk.
