Many people would search for days for a survival knife, not really knowing what makes a knife a survival knife. I did it when I started learning survival skills, but a survival knife can be any knife, its just that some knives are stronger than others and made for survival situations.
Certain blades are more durable than others but what it comes down to is what you prefer.
Personally I think a fixed blade with a wooden handle makes the best survival knives out there. But some people would say one of those multi tools would be a better survival knife.
Its personal choice.
However on this blog I hope to show you some things you should consider in a survival knife and when choosing one. There are lots of factors that will depend if you will be glad about your choice of a survival knife or not.
