Innocent woman gunned down by police

Police officers killed a woman and injured two other passengers after opening fire on a vehicle they thought was hijacked, only to discover they had the wrong car.

The incident took place in Mabopane in northern Pretoria on Sunday morning.

Members of the Flying Squad were on the lookout for a hijacked vehicle near the local taxi rank.
