Not only will they slow you down but some South Africans in London and UK are known for being very common and low class. Especially in London. Going to London and UK / England will help you get away from the people of this country and will put you in a new environment where you can be yourself and experience new things. Apart from missing home there might be many reasons why you would want to join someone in England. But staying alone or with the one you went over to will benefit you way more.
