Dont look at your blog stats

If you have a new blog and have been blogging really hard at getting it off the ground, dont look at your stats. New blogs dont get much traffic but the things you type will get traffic later so it’s not for nothing. Blogging takes time and seeing results takes even longer.

The reason I am saying is you should not look at your stats if you have a new blog is because new blogs dont get that much traffic and it might discourage you when you have put that much hard work into it and see that traffic that just does not justify the posts you have made. Many blogs would of been really good blogs but because so many people start a blog and dont see results immediately there are more unused blogs on the internet than used blogs. If you can just ignore the slow traffic for a while and keep on blogging you will soon get traffic.

You should blog for at least three months before you start to look at your stats. Or at least 100 posts.

Some people might disagree but it works for me when I set up a new blog. I am sure if I looked at my stats everyday on some of my blogs I would of given up on most of them.
