Drupal 6 almost coming out officially

I wanted to make a site with drupal 5 but since the official release of Drupal is so close I would rather wait. I see that there is many new things about the new drupal. The only thing that I dont like about Drupal is that I think the versions go to fast and that the modules are not compatible with previous versions. And since I am no coder I cant make the modules myself. There are some modules that I use but they wont be upgrading to version 6. That leaves me with a choice to choose if I want to upgrade and have a missing module or if I should just stick to 5. But I am sure soon there will be another module that does the same for 6 so my best guess is to upgrade to version 6 and just be stuck for a while without the much needed plugin.
