Facebook Microstatus annoying everyone

Faecbook’s new feature is annoying a lot of people. The feature called Microstatus cant be turned of and shows you what your friends are doing day and night. Now every time someone eats, drinks, phones or shares anything what they are doing you will be in their long list of friends to see what they are up to. And there is no way you can turn the thing off. As I have read on some blogs they say you get tracked somehow by satellite and some other crazy stories but the point is. Its annoying.
