Facebook vs Your own blog

Ads:

When blogging you might see your own ads, which in turn will not annoy you because you know if someone clicks on them you will get paid, You choose how annoying your ads are and if you would like to hide them in the content or whatever. So you rule the ads.

While Facebook is worth 16billion dollars (so they say) I dont think its worth that much, they dont even make 100 million dollars a year from Facebook. So they decided to put in the ads and I think that is where Facebook will fall.

The point is soon you will see ads in everything on Facebook. At least that is my opinion. Once someone first starts to make the money from those ads the fever wont stop. Facebook will soon become Faceads because the only thing you will see is ads. Your information used to serve you ads, not just what you like because Facebook has all information of most people.

Money:

You can make over $10 000 a month blogging, maybe not from one blog but you can make that much, you can turn your blog into a business and even sell it later for enough money to feed you for the rest of your life.

But Facebook wont make you much if you are the average user and dont know much about making apps. How many hours do people waste on Facebook that they could of build themselves a profile on their blogs and even make a living from it. Many people with Facebook addiction could of used their time to blog and become someone with a goal.

Friends:

I make more friends blogging than on Facebook. Sure you can add 100’s of friends on Facebook’s profile but are they really your friends? I have a few that I know for a fact they are not my friends and I even have a few that I have never met. That is pointless, that wont bring you far in life.

While on the other side I have made some good friends blogging. People who agree on the same thing as me and who I can have a decent conversation with even though I have never met them they have become better friends than those I know and that’s on my Facebook profile.

Anyway the list can go on and on. Rather start your own blog and become a success than waste your time away on Facebook.
