Firefox and Stumbleupon month - Searchstatus for Firefox with Alexa, Pagerank and Compete ranks.

Searchstatus for Firefox is a extension that enables you to completely check out a site’s stats on a whole range of stuff.

Let me show you.

Alexa

Search status for Firefox lets you check out everything about a site’s Alexa rating with two clicks.

Compete

Pagerank

That is not all. Searchstatus for Firefox lets you do other stuff as well. I use it almost every day.

One of the things you can do with Searchstatus for Firefox is Highlight nofollow links.

You will be surprised at how many sites I find that have Do follow banner but because they dont know that in Wordpress 2.3 most of those do follow plugins stopped working they still have the No-Follow turned on.

As you can see by the above image Searchstatus for Firefox also allows you to get a link report which looks like this

Searchstatus also allows you to check out the meta tags for the specific page you are on.

As you can see here there are loads of other functions I just wanted to point some of these. This is a really great plugin with loads of options. You can also disable Alexa, pagerank or Compete.

This is great stuff. I am going to download as soon as I have finished here. Nothing is a secret in the world of blogging anymore.

I use the NoFollow Free Plugin with WordPress 2.3 and I have not experienced any problems or at least I do not think I have. If I check the code for my pages the nofollow attribute does not appear. I will check out the pages with SearchStatus once I have installed it.

Just a quick update. I installed SearchStatus and it is indeed a nice tool to have. I checked my pages for the nofollow attribute and found that everything is the way it should be. It would appear as if the NoFollow Free Plugin works well with WordPress 2.3. All I can do is hope that more people get the nofollow attribute turned off so that they actually offer ‘real’ links to the folk who comment on their sites.

I once turned nofollow off but then there just came spam flooding so I switched it back to nofollow. Glad you liked the plugin. Its useful hey.
