I noticed that people still want to figure out why Firefox is hanging all the time. I have no idea why it does that but the problem goes away with the new Firefox. I have had the Firefox 3 for a few days now, as well as the new Ubuntu and the Firefox freezing problems has totally vanished. No more Firefox crashing.

I have the absolutely opposite experience. Firefox hangs when being closed, the process is hardly ever close properly. There is also bad interference with Kaspersky 7.0
This happened when updating from 3beta5 to 3rc1
