If you want to make money from Valentine’s day its no use just blogging about making money. You have to get out there and actually write relationship tips or whatever it is people want information on for Valentine’s day. Having more than one blog for seasonal happenings would increase your chances of taking advantage of days like Valentine’s day. Whether Valentine’s day is a American thing or not. 1. Start blogging about Valentine’s day

2. Get ads on your site that has to do with Valentine’s day and try looking for specials on places like CJ

3. Optimize for keywords long before the time. Optimizing the day of a event is useless because by the time your keywords hit search engines its to late and the event has passed.

4. Run a special competition for that day. I hate competitions but the one day to have a competition is one day like Valentine’s day where everyone is in the “mood”

5. Try to get inbound links and anchor text and increase those link to your site before the specific “seasonal day”
