I dont know if you use google earth but I sure do. I recently noticed that some if not most parts of South Africa has been updated. Previously the images used on Google Earth for parts of Cape Town was about 4 years old. The new ones are a bit more recent and here in the Helderberg the images shows the fire close to the Mall that happened December or a bit earlier I think.

Its great looking at the new stuff, the quality is way better than the old cache although some parts are still a bit blury.

If you are not using Google Earth you should check it out.
