With controversy still a bit hot over the previous versions of Grand Theft Auto, I wonder what this one has in store for the millions of gamers across the world.
Grand Theft Auto otherwise known as GTA 4 is the 11th game release by Rockstar Games. The games is to be released February 2008 for xbox and Playstation 3. This time the game is set in Liberty City that is mostly based on New York.
The previous versions of Grand Theft Auto was more mission driven and the way to play the game was to complete the missions but most people just ignored the missions and had fun driving around, getting chased by cops and crashing cars. That might be why they are changing the game that it’s more free to explore. This time the levels will be intergrated in the freedom to drive around and as I have heard what you do in driving around free and not being a mission has a effect on the total gameplay and the storyline.
New changes to GTA IV that is different than the older ones:
No loading, you can play the game from beginning to end without reloading and sitting at a waiting screen.
No airplanes to fly, only helicopters but there will be a airport.
Euphoria by NaturalMotion will be used as a motion engine for the character
Climbing more things like poles etc.
Phone in zoom. When you use the phone you will see a full screen with options and you will be able to phone woman.
No more just jumping in cars and taking off, you have to break the window, hotwire the car and some other things before you can actually just take a parked car. Oh and dont forget that you have to make sure no one sees you.
Multiplayer will also be a bonus in the game
