Greyton (as I wrote yesterday) is one of the most beautiful places in South Africa. The drive to Greyton is long and dry so while driving past all the farms and really dry fields you wont expect that Greyton would like like it does. The mountain in the background makes this small town tucked away and hidden from the busy city life. Accommodation in Greyton is great and there are these small guest houses all over. There was a hotel but I am not sure if that is still there. While there are many properties in Greyton the start price as I also wrote yesterday is nothing less than R500 000. Really worth it though. There is a river and a waterfall to the north west side of town including a nature reserve. The river runs to Riviersonderend. Greyton is the perfect place for a holiday or a getaway.
