A lot of people call this the law of association but I just call it as the bible says it. If you spend a lot of time with wise people you will become wise yourself. If you spend a lot of time with fools you will become a fool yourself. Wisdom and foolishness rubs off. If you spend a lot of time around people that drink a lot, you will start drinking yourself. I have experience of this as it happened to me. I guess the same counts for tv. If you watch to much tv you will become as that what you are watching. I think there is another proverb that says bad communication corrupts good manners.

Some people also use this as to not be around people they find to be foolish or not on the same level as some would call it but I think, take in a fool and let him be with the wise and he will become wise himself.

That reminds me a lot about blogging. If you read blogs about a certain topic you will become a expert yourself.
