Recently I had the problem where I wanted to display something in Wordpress but only in one category. I first tried some Wordpress Plugins but then decided its time to learn how to insert something in one category only and exclude it from the rest of the site. So I got it working with this code. The if stands for if you are in that category and the category is 211 in the example. You find the category number under manage and then Categories. So with this code you can display something in one category that you dont want to be displayed on the rest of the site.
