Hurricane Earl captured on amazing satellite image

This photo was taken on August 29 at exactly 14:20, the satellite image was taken by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (Modis) on NASA’s Terra satellite.

Hurricane Earl is now a category 4 hurricane and fears are that it will make landfall in the US sometime after Thursday, according to some experts the hurricane will by then be much weaker, that remains to be seen.

What would happen if the hurricane makes New York could be catastrophic.

This is the first great satellite image of Hurricane Earl since it went category 4 and obviously became a major hurricane.
