Its weird how you can sometimes get so attached to digital stuff. I do, I dont know about you but I just deleted 7000 emails and deleted everything in my Facebook account including messages etc. Now I am about to delete everything I can that I have ever done online except this blog.

Just think of the amount of trash we leave behind online. I mean messages that you dont always want to be there. you want it to be deleted sometime dont you?

The best thing I like about my online history is that if you type in my name you dont find it once on any search engine for anything. So that means so far I have kept my privacy online. That is also one of the most important things I have ever done is to keep my identity private online. Sure people can find out who you are but that will just be a waste of time if you are a bit boring like I am. But I still want to keep my details to myself.

Many people say this is unethical. But being anonymous lets you sleep at night. Especially if you are a political blogger which I am not.

There are certain things you can do to protect your privacy online. The biggest rule I had so far to keep my name to myself was to only use my name where I enter my banking details. Other than that its always best to let your friends know who you are online, offline.
