Insects contain way more protein than any other meat and some can taste quite nice if you cook them. I am not going into all the types of insects right now that you can eat but there are thousands. Some insects are poisonous and not all of them taste nice but in a survival situation you just have to adapt to the circumstances. I will go into edible insects a bit later. But for now go into your garden and look around for insects like ants and earthworms and have a snack.
