Is bidorbuy.co.za losing value because it's free to post?

If bidorbuy makes it that you have to pay at least R10 per item you post I think the quality of the site will increase a lot. Imagine all the spam on ebay if they would make it free. So the same thing can keep Bidorbuy from being a spam site. Sometimes paying is just worth it, especially if free invites the wrong people. Ebay would never work if the made it free to post items and I think for any successful auction site there should be a cost to post.
