Joomla Updated
Last week, 08 July, Joomla 1.5.4 was released with a good selection of Security updates and Fixes.
- For those Joomla users who have not yet heard of it, JoomlaDraft.com has the perfect solution for setting up joomla sites on a local server, especially for those of you who set them up for clients. The best part about their application is that it can run off a flash drive, incorporating in their latest version:
- Joomla 1.5.4
- Apache 2.0.54
- MySQL 4.1.12
- PHP 5.2.3
- phpMyAdmin 2.6.2-pl1
I have personally been using this compilation for quite a while and have found it invaluable especially with the cost of Internet in South Africa. I have also just updated to the latest JoomlaDraft Joomla Server, powered by mov’AMP.
