Lekota accused ANC of hate speech

The Beeld today had a piece that is actually true:
Die ANC se beskrywing van politieke teenstanders as “honde, giftige slange en kakkerlakke” kom neer op haatspraak wat herinner aan die soort uitlatings wat kort voor die Rwanda-volksmoord in 1994 daar geuiter is.
During the Rwanda genocide the radio presenters started calling the tutsis if I am correct, cockroaches. In the famous film Rwanda you can see how thy started with the propaganda and how that eventually contributed to the genocide. Lekota blamed the ANC of doing exactly the same.
