Domaining is probably the biggest way to make money from the internet in the world, site like poker.com and computer.com go for millions of dollars and if you can get your hands on a nice domain you might be able to resell it for much more than you paid to register it. But you can also have a bunch of domains and not make a dollar or a cent. The key to finding great domain names is creativity and a bit of knowledge of how the internet works. For instance the shorter a domain the more it might be worth. Having a 3 letter .com domain might make you a millionare when a 4 letter domain might not be that much worth at all. Some people make money online using domains but they get misspelled domains hoping to catch some browser that has made a spelling mistake for one of the more famous domains and then make money from ads on the misspelled domain. It''s called cybersquatting and it is illegal. Although it''s illegal people continue to make money from them.Domaining can also bring you in money from local domains such as .co.za for here in South Africa but that is a bit harder and the money is not that good as well. You can also park your domains at places like sedo but that''s pretty useless and wont make a lot of money except for when it''s a domain that people type in directly.I will write more about domaining in the future.
