I use a mind map for all my sites to see how they are linked up to each other. A mind map is a picture or a map with all your ideas or whatever linked up to each other, I guess the only way to show what a mind map is, is to show a picture.

That is a mind map. If you have lots of stuff to do, or a site that needs to be layed out you can use a mind map to do that. There are hundreds of programs that are free and helps you create mind maps.

Mind maps is a way to brainstorm and plan ahead for a project. You can even layout the parts of something you are building in order to plan better and get a better understanding of what should be done next and what goes where
