A new upcoming move about a oil crash that overtakes the world seems to be a hit already. It’s actually a documentary, a 90 minute documentary.

”
THE RIMINI PROTOCOL
an Oil Depletion Protocol
People ask: Are we running out of oil ? The simple answer is: Yes, we started doing that when we produced the first barrel. But Running Out is not the main issue as the resource will not be finally exhausted for very many years. The much more relevant question is: When will production reach a peak and begin to decline?”
The movie or documentary is about Oil as you can imagine and it’s about how modern civilization has to be completely rebuilt as to not be so addicted to oil.
As the movie goes along they speak to some of the world experts on the subject of peak oil and the end is a startling conclusion that somehow we would have to learn to live without oil.
Robert B. Semple, Jr., associate editor of the New York Times editorial board, writes in the paper’s March 1, 2006, online edition:
“The Age of Oil — 100-plus years of astonishing economic growth made possible by cheap, abundant oil — could be ending without our really being aware of it. Oil is a finite commodity. At some point even the vast reservoirs of Saudi Arabia will run dry. But before that happens there will come a day when oil production ‘peaks,’ when demand overtakes supply (and never looks back), resulting in large and possibly catastrophic price increases that could make today’s $60-a-barrel oil look like chump change. Unless, of course, we begin to develop substitutes for oil. Or begin to live more abstemiously. Or both. The concept of peak oil has not been widely written about. But people are talking about it now. It deserves a careful look — largely because it is almost certainly correct.”
You dont have to be a genius to figure out that America is not in the middle East because of a terrorist organization but rather that the organization was used as bait to convince the world that they needed to go in there. But A america without oil is a disaster. If you have seen the documentary America being built around oil you would understand.
evolution
One thing about the movie is the fact that they base the creation of oil on the theory of evolution which can not be proved. But saying that the rest of the movie still seems accurate.
peak oil theory
The movie is mostly based if I am correct around the theory of Peak oil which was first started by Hubbert in the 50’s. He lost his reputation for making such a theory and at that time people thought he was mad. But 50 years down the line the theory seems to be more than just a theory and that it might be a fact.
92 oil peaked
More than half of the 92 Oil bearing countries in the world have reached their peak and the only place the oil has not peaked is in the middle east. Which is why you can understand America’s interest in starting wars in oil countries.
The fact is, not just America is hooked on oil but the entire planet has been organized in a way that we all need oil for everything. Not just luxuries but everyday things. Even computers need oil to be created.
Preparing
A lot of corporate companies and even small towns, cities and some countries are preparing for when there is no oil. But the fact is if there is no oil there is a hard time to follow. Oil has been a magnet for war and oil starts wars.
I guess I am going off the topic about the movie now but all these things you can see in the movie
