New illegal Johannesburg / Gauteng number plates but illegal to be without

Our great new entertaining government had a party with the birds again. This time around they are forcing people to be illegal. From January all cars will be fitted with number plates that make it “easier” to go through toll gates.

But the licence plates are illegal according to the SABS and now the Gauteng department of Transport wants the SABS to scrap the protocols which will take six months but the number plates already come out in 3 months.
