Iceland volcano ash gets worse
Iceland – The volcanic ash got worse and has now affected both Northern Europe and Southern Europe. More airports are closing as well today.
Poland shut down their airspace today, no word on when it might open again. Britain and France also extended the ban on flying.
Not only did the ash increase but the volcanic activity also increased according to scientists. People are fearing that Katla might erupt, that could cause very long delays in air traffic or even worse. If Katla blows it could bring a mini ice age type scenario.
For now, only the other volcano is active and getting more active.
