New Zealand - This weekend two websites were blocked in New Zealand. The two websites "infowars.com" and "Prisonplanet.com" were selectively blocked by Asia Netcom's router which is used for international traffic in New Zealand.

The ISPs namely Woosh, Slingshot, Orcon and Ihug got affected because they rely on the Asia Netcom router for international traffic.

Both websites that got blocked are what many refer to as conspiracy sites but they are conveniently called "conspiracy" sites because they report news opposing normal main stream media views many times exposing the views of mainstream media. News should be uncensored if there is truth to be found regardless of opinion. Free news makes a free society.

We cant tell at this moment if they are able to visit the sites again using those networks.
