Pretoria, South Africa - A SA Airlink airplane was grounded today after trying to fly from South Africa to Antananarivo. The airplane had to turn around and land again due to engine trouble.
According to Karin Murray the SA Airlink Sales and Marketing Manager hotel arrangements were made for passengers who were accommodated in the next flight to Antananarivo.
According to Karin the anti-icing system overheated.
"The cause might have been related to the intense weather systems and the expectation of encountering severe icing en-route to Antananarivo, and was in the interests of safety," she said.
