Nuweland solution for the white South Africans?

Nuweland is a project by Mnr. Christo Burger to protect the Afrikaner culture. The Afrikaners are a dying breed just like the Boesmans does the Afrikaners have a right to exist. That is what these people are trying to accomplish by making a town especially for South Africans that is completely independent from the rest of South Africa. The goal is 40 000 people living in this self effecient town. No cars only 'public transport', bicycles and obviously walking. They are also planning on using Hidro-electricity and wind power plus sun power. 80% Of the water would be recycled.

The whole dream by Christo Burger have written in a 72page book that is where this whole thing started. Christo himself has given all his money into this venture of 'saving the Afrikaner culture'. Many would try and compare it with the afrikaner town Orajne which is also a strictly white town. Many would see this as an racist thing but if you look at it carefully there are many towns all over South Africa that is strictly certain black people to preserve their culture. So I can see how they would also want to preserve Afrikaner in the same way.

Remember being able to speak Afrikaans doesn't necessarily make you an Afrikaner. This whole thing is actually aimed of the decedents of the Voortrekkers who played a large part in South Africa's history.

The whole village will have a theme. I would assume they mean Afrikaner of voortekker theme. One of the reason for this is to attract tourist.
