Plettenberg Bay and Beacon Island

Plettenberg Bay is one of the most beautiful places in South Africa. We stayed in two places in Plettenberg Bay. The best accommodation is in the Beacon Island hotel. When you sit in the bar section or lounge the waves break right there. You can see the entire ocean and when its cold those couches make the best place to sit and read. No other hotel that I have been to has been this nice. Beacon Island sits on the beach. There is a few restaurants where you can sit and eat close to the hotel. The serve the best calamari. Plettenberg Bay is one of the best holiday spots along the overberg. There is also the best places to eat pizza. If you live in Beacon Island depending on how high you are in the hotel you can see the entire town. If you are on the side of the ocean you can see the ocean for miles.
