Poor Caster Semenya

I don't know where the Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph got their information but they have overstep boundaries. I don't care who you are but in such a sensitive matter you cannot in right conscience release someones personal medical records. It was up the Semenya and IAAF to release after they discussed it.

The newspaper claims that Caster Semenya is an hermaphrodite has no ovaries, internal testes and large amounts of testosterone.

Even if it is true, how could they release such personal information of a 18 year old girl? Because no matter what they say to her and her family she was born as a girl. It might explain some of her differences from other girls but what should she do if it was true? She won't qualify to take part in the mens section in sport but she is not allowed to take part in the womens section. Everyone is discussing her, very few actually taking the time that this is a young persons whole life, what she has worked hard for and trained hours and hours to accomplished can be taken away because of a rare medical condition.

The Politicians are using her as a platform to talk about race issues and the rest of the world is treating her like some kind of oddity. I feel very sorry for Caster and hope for the best because in her culture something like this can ruin a girl.
