When you start blogging, you should focus on quantity more than quality, I dont mean you should not post quality but quantity is more important for a young blog. Whether or not the 100 page theory is true I am not sure but as I have heard, your site has a much higher ranking when you have more than 100 articles on your blog. This is obvious but it might be more important than typing 100 quality articles for you first posts.
In your first 100 posts your should focus more on your titles than anything else since this is what search engines see first and this is what makes or breaks your site when it’s young.
Another thing is when you are new at blogging your posts suck, but dont let that put you off, the more you type the better you will become then you can drop in quantity and focus on quality. Start by typing short posts without focusing to much on quality, then as you learn focus more on quality than quantity. Look at any blog, it’s kind of weird posting your second blog post, even up until your 50th blog post you might feel your blog is not established yet, just go on and type with authority and soon you will be typing away at those quality articles.

I can understand why a blogger might want to follow this strategy, especially if they are looking to grow quick by use of SEO. However, isn’t there a danger of being branded incorrectly as a lightweight blogger? I’d just worry that quality must be there, in spades.
