Search Engine Optimization
According to this article from Guy McLaren at trafficdepartment I have no idea how to do SEO but in this post I will prove to you that in fact SEO is not about finding your own name on search engines but searching high ranked keywords and finding your site.
I have nothing against Guy McLaren but I believe I have the right to prove that in fact I have a clue. So here is some proof that in fact I can do Seo just like anyone else:
Here is my search term “blog traffic” at around number 60 using Linux and Google.com not .co.za
Here is my search term “stress blog” at around number 12 on Google.com using Ubuntu linux.
Here is my website’s name Fromtheold one word , no where on the site will you find it written in two or more words. This is at number 1 on google which is obviously not such a big deal but in defense of myself here it is at number 1
Search for Helderberg on google.com and you will find one of my sites on or two of my sites on the first or second page
Hb.co.za and Helderberg.org
As you might understand I dont optimize this blog because this is my personal blog. I dont need to do that. But just to prove a point.

I can go on for days but this is boring me.
So no offense Guy Mclaren but I can do SEO though I really dont care about it. I think you write interesting articles but this one was not one of them.
But please if you want to make a statement like that on your blog:
Know your facts
Ask yourself, is this guy into Search Engine Optimization?
Does he even care?
Because I dont.
But since there is money in SEO i will give it a shot and for the next few weeks optimize my site for search word “Search Engine Optimization”
I did not say you couldn’t do it. I just said I couldn’t find you. I also said if you can’t find your SEO person by name he is useless. I don’t have your name so would not be able to the test.
I can be found by name, and my clients can be found. I also have multiple sites and the ones that I work on do well. The ones I don’t do less well.
I don’t think we need to enter into a farting competition. I disagreed with your statement. I could prove the keywords you are talking about and I bet you could prove mine.

I cant be found by name no. I prefer to keep my name from the internet. I dont want to start a argument either but I just got upset because you said I need to get a clue. So I thought I just have to defend myself there.
I will remove this post if you think I am trying to start a argument because I am not.
No don’t remove it, Blogwars bring really big traffic. Trust me on this one, call me a few more names and I will get mega traffic
