This was the worst storm I have ever seen, except from when i was six years old. This was probably one of the worst storms to hit the beaches since I have been a child. Some roads here in the Helderberg got sucked in by the sea while the water was two blocks away from the beach itself.

It seems that global warming must be real because our beaches are now half of what they were. Sure it might be because of the storm and it might return to normal but it surely looks like the sea is sucking in our coasts. And not only our coasts but the buildings and human creations that stand on the beach front as well.

It always used to be that if you live right on the beach you are set for life. But that seems to change now where the wild sea might one day take back a lot of what we thought was part of the cities or towns

I think the worst is yet to come. There are those that believe that global warming is some hoax but this weekend’s events showed me that global warming is real.

I wonder if our kids can oneday show them the beach they play on now, or if the sea will swallow up our beaches.
