Cape Town is the most southern city in Africa, the most southern city in South Africa and is also a host for the Fifa 2010 world cup. Some of the best beaches in the world is located around the coasts of Cape Town including the famous Clifton beach and Camps bay beach. There is also the famous nude beach called Sandy Bay, although its not that much visited anymore and only old naked men walk around there.

Cape Town also has a great selection of accommodation including the Nelson Mandela hotel as well as some great backpacker places to stay. There is not much place to camp around Cape Town although you can drive out and will find some great places to camp in Helderberg or closer to Kleinmond.

Some famous landmarks and places to visit in Cape Town is Table mountain and the V A waterfront as well as the Castle in the centre of the City. Cape Town is also the place where Jan van Riebeeck landed and is generally known as the place where South Africa started. Another famous part of Cape Town is district 6 where you can walk through the colorful houses and rich heritage of the most beautiful city in the world.

Although Cape Town is full of crime and drugs are sold on every street corner it still is much safer than Johannesburg and Durban. There are many clubs and restaurants to go to but long street is one of the more famous places to hang out over a weekend.

Cavendish Square is located in central Claremont. There are 200 shops and more than enough restaurants and coffee shops. There are a large amount of cinemas and entertainment areas. The mall is always busy but relaxed. There is also no trolleys to make the shopping experience more pleasant than a chore.
