A survival kit is a box or car or whatever you use to load supplies in advance to prepare for surviving in the wild or basically anywhere for long periods of time. Sometimes in harsh circumstances. A survival kit can also be called a disaster kit. Most people that live and work in remote locations and areas usually keep a survival kit at hand just in case.

A survival kit should be kept updated at all times and should be kept by every family. Especially in places like South Africa where the future of the country does not look that bright.
