The perfect survival cooking pot or for bushcraft August 21st, 2008
These pots are sold everywhere in South Africa and you can pick them up for as little as R60 from Checkers or most shops that sell braai equipment. They are quite heavy but really worth the money.
The reason for this is they last years. Whether you just want to go away camping or need to stay in the wilderness for years this is the pot you need to take with.
These pots are called bush babies if I am correct. They are made of cast iron and will probably be the most heavy thing in your survival kit or bug out vehicle or bag.
Some stainless steel pots are not nearly as thick as they should be and soon after some fires they just break and get holes. These dont. Even after years of use they last. Really worth it.

Wood working wonder. Replica of Noah’s ark. August 10th, 2008
A replica of Noah’s ark was opened this weekend at the Netherlands. The replica was built to scale yet is about half the size than the original.
I love wooden boats and this one is massive. But I think all the animals were babies when they got on the ark. It would of saved a lot of space and food. Also allowing them to grow and make sure they are not to old.
Fascinating what people can build these days. That much wood must cost more than a building of the same size. Think of all the varnish needed.
Just guessing though.

This is some disturbing stuff. In South Africa you better hope you dont go to a public hospital because they will kill you and lie on the forms.
A nurse was working when a woman started giving birth, she left in fear she would miss her bus. The woman would cry 15 minutes for help. A other nurse finally arrived and said “O, she’s not lying, the baby came out.”
“Sy het gesê sy’s jammer sy kan my nie help nie. Sy moet tjaila, want sy gaan haar bus mis.”
Masingi het Dinsdagaand alleen op ’n bedjie in die Mamelodi-daghospitaal geboorte gegee aan ’n dogtertjie, en glo bykans 15 minute lank om hulp geroep.

Denise Richards is trying to make a come back after her disaster of an marriage to Charlie Sheen. Denise looks pretty hot for someone who has had two babies.
