Hold on to your onions, Manto Tshabalala-Msimang is coming back

April 1, 2009 by evl

The onion queen Manto Tshabalala-Msimang is about to hit back in parliament with her super onions and muti that would wake up a dead horse, this old cow that doesnt really believe in AIDS along with her sidekick and previous president of South Africa caused chaos and death with their AIDS beliefs for the past few years. Now chaos Manto Tshabalala-Msimang is about to strike back and this time the empire wants her back. Such is the speculation and its also reported in the Times
Well-placed sources said Tshabalala-Msimang, who is renowned for her opposition to the use of antiretroviral drugs to fight HIV-Aids, will regain her position this week in a Cabinet reshuffle.
So, lock up your drink cabinets and stock on onions because Barbara Hogan's opinion or freedom of speech is about to make her the ex Health minister. Never mess with free speech, it could land you in trouble, especially if you live in the democrazy of South Africa

ID to bring back scorpions among other things

January 19, 2009 by evl

The Independent democrats said they will also bring back the scorpions. I wonder where they got that idea from. I bet you all the other parties might bring it back as well. Except off course for the ANC. Nope, you can be sure they wont bring back the scorpions.

The Independent Democrats national election manifesto will among others focus on the re-introduction of the Scorpions, restoring the public's faith in the police and addressing social ills, party leader Patricia Delille said on Sunday.

Al Quaeda blames Barack Obama for Israel-Gaza conflict

January 7, 2009 by Daizy

rocket_into_israelSeeing that the conflict goes back to 1960 I cannot fathom why they can blame him. Apparently they believe it's Obama's present to Israel. Huh?! Ok how can a war that was started by Hamas even remotely be blamed on Obama or America. The way the Muslims continue to think that the world revolves around hating them, is seriously clouding their judgment. Hamas continual rocket fire into Israel started this current battle, not Obama. Then they people argue put Hamas has the right to be angry because they live in a segregated community. Now flashback to when the border was made and the Israeli's was forcefully removed from their homes to give it to the Palestinians, all the Arab countries agreed upon the boundaries. Actually everyone was happy to force Israel into giving Gaza to the Palestinians. What a mistake. The Israeli's created and oasis where there was desert. They built all the hospitals and schools they had flourishing greenhouses. Where is all those things? Destroyed by Hamas for some inexplicable reason. Their hate so much stronger than their common sense. I saw on tv how the Israeli settlers cried over they're homes and farms as they where being forced from their homes. Back then it was green and beautiful now it's becoming desert again.

Green houses before Palestinians took over Gaza

They burned them all 14$million worth greenhouses destroyed for arms smuggling tunnels.

The point is the Israeli's gave in once just to be attacked again. Now the whole world is screaming for Israel to stop the fighting but what of Hamas? Should they not carry some of the burden, most of them are cowards who think if they shoot a rocket while between homes of families with children they would get away with it. That is why so many children are getting hurt because Hamas is sheltering themselves behind them. I am all worked up now because watching on the news how they concentrate on children being carried into the hospital very view ask the question why was the Israeli's shooting where there are civilians. It's because the rocket fire is coming from there.

Canoe or Kayak camping

December 24, 2008 by evl

Canoe or Kayak camping might be one of the most adventures things to do on a december holiday. What it basically is, its packing your canoe or kayak with what you need to camp going down the river and camping as you go down. Now this might not be possible for those extreme kayakers but it sure if fun if you are not that much into the rough waters. The reason I am saying this is because your camping gear will most probably slow you down and you wont be able to take on the real big falls with all that weight. There are basically three things you need to pack in for such a trip. Food Clothing Shelter and dont forget the medical kit as well. I will explain more about this later. Just wanted to get the topic started so I can refer back to it.

How many votes could the ANC of lost

December 21, 2008 by evl

breaking.news.jpg

I was just thinking this morning that if everyone that has left the country because of corruption and crime could vote, there would be thousands if not hundred thousands of extra votes for other parties.

Most people probably left because of the ANC's way of ruling or rather not ruling the country. First there was Mbeki that did not have a clue what was going on and now there is the second half of the ANC with the Zuma crowd and who knows what will happen next year.

If everyone came back that emigrated and moved to other countries we would have a massive chance of breaking this 2/3 majority.

But I know that wont happen. To be honest if I could of emigrated I would of done so long ago.

Most South African bloggers are from Cape Town

December 7, 2008 by evl

That's strange. I would not of thought that most bloggers would be from Cape Town that blog and live in South Africa. My guess would of been Johannesburg. According to "Sake 24" something like 88% come from Cape Town.

I guess its called the laid back city for a reason but this is also the silicon valley of South Africa.

Cape Town as far as I know also has the best internet connections and most people that live here are not obsessed with work. At least the ones that I know.

Interesting.

Entrance to Matjiesfontein Lord Milner Hotel

Matjiesfontein is one of the best places I've had a holiday at. As you drive in the only thing that basically reminds you that you are not in the 18th century is maybe your cellphone or the cars standing outside. Everything about Matjiesfontein's look and feel is like you are back 100 years.

Even the entrance as you can see here is something out of a Victorian movie.
