Cloudy with the chance of Meatballs is based on a childrens book. It is a creative movie like no other. The whole story plot is so unbelievable but also inventive a real adventure.
There is this inventor named Flint Lockwood who dreams of being a great inventor. Then one day invents this machine that turns water into food.
There are many opportunity during the film for gags and laughter and to me is the perfect thing to watch with small children. As you would see in the trailer that this a very imaginative movie.
This has to be the funniest movie trailer I have ever seen and to think it's actually based on reality. George Clooney is in the starring role along with Ewan McGregor. The rest of the cast is just as good featuring Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges and J.K. Simmons all of them seasoned actors taking part in this bizarre tale.
The plot is about a reported played by Ewan McGregor, who started following this story about a secret military operation. In the beginning he thought it was all bogus until he met a retired military guy played by George Clooney, they gone on this wild adventure. The military program was about this mystical belief that soldiers minds could be used as weapons. They believed you could walk through walls and kill using only your mind.
The Men Who Stare At Goats Official Trailer HD
As bizarre as this all seem this is actually based on real people and believe it or not a real military operation. I found this video on Dailymotion about the real people and how they honestly believed that they can do these things.
Krazy Rulers of the NWO - The Rat Masters who Stare at Goats
If you do not like spoilers don't watch this movie and do not read the rest of the post because honestly there is no way to describe this movie without giving everything away. 'Funny People' directed by Judd Apatow who has made a long list of hilarious movies and the main characters is played by Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Leslie Mann.
George Simmons is a major stand up comedian, played by Adam Sandler, who has found out he is dying. He one night watches other comedians perform and hires Ira Wright, played by Seth Rogen, to be a 'companion' of sorts and also help him writing jokes. During the time they spend together George shares about 'the one that got away', Laura who is played by Leslie Mann. And how George is trying to live his fullest before he dies just to find out he is not dying anymore. Then he goes on celebrating his second chance and making things right.
I know my description makes it sound kind off boring and rather depressing but it really isn't. This is the type of movie I would love to watch seeing as I love stand up comedy I can sit for hours and watch clip after clip off stand up :)
This looks like another cliche American teenage movie but it also looks really really good. One I like Hayden Panettiere, two I like nerds they are most of the time funny strange and I just like any type of outcasts.
'I love you Beth Cooper' is about a high school graduate who is valedictorian making his declaration in front of the whole school setting to motion a roller coaster night. It seems fun and light hearted and very very funny. I found a clip of Hayden singing really badly for the trailer :) enjoy
The first time I saw Madea was in 'Mad black woman' I thought she was hilarious in that movie. So I am glad to see movie more based on her. Ok there is another story in there of people she has raised or known at some time but the main feature is Madea and her legendary temper. If you not a big fan of rowdy American comedy you won't appreciate this. I am not a big fan myself but I am already laughing just from the trailers and posters, so I think I am going to enjoy 'Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail' wow what a mouthful
O and just by the way this trailer was so hard to find I went through so many sites looking for something difirent than the one above.

I love Sandra Bullock's movies. I don't think I have seen anything of hers that I have not liked. Her quirky characters and her ability to make a person laugh while still remaining attractive is a very rare thing. Normally female comedians can be so off putting and rather crude but not Sandra Bullock.
The movie is about a eccentric woman Mary Horowitz played by Sandra Bullock who is an crossword puzzler, goes on a blind date with Steve played by Bradley Cooper. She falls madly in love as soon as she meets him but he thinks she is a nut. Steve is a news camera man and is called away on work. Mary decides she is going to follow him around like a stalker. There is many things that go wrong but Steve starts to see Mary differently.
All about Steve looks hilarious and strangely unpredictable. Why I say strange is normally with this type of film typical American romantic comedy the end is pretty much obvious but with this one I cannot make out whats going to happen. Watch the trailer and see what I mean. I am so going to see this movie :)
I can understand how they won so many awards. Wow this really looks like a beautiful movie. It has everything Romance, drama, action, suspense, mystery even comedy. I cannot wait to see it for myself. I have always been a foreign film fan but this is so different from anything that has been done before, even the trailer makes me smile.
Official trailer
The movie is about a orphan boy, Jamal Malik, who grows up in the slums of Mumbai. At eighteen he got the opportunity to take part in India's 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?' and win 20 million rupees. But when before he could answer the last question the police comes and arrest him in suspicion of cheating.
Everyone was confused how could a boy with no education get so far in the game. So he tells the police his whole life story and how he knew the answers. The only part that confused them was that he was not interested in winning the money and was curious to why he took part. Which will only be revealed when he answers the last question.
Ok that is a very ruff summary of the movie because I really don't want to say more and maybe spoil it for someone. I have unfortunately already had read a couple of spoilers and know how it feels.
I found this video clip made by Addictive TV. It is very well done and fun to watch. They compiled scenes from the movie to make a very unusual trailer.
The film won a Golden Globe for best film and I believe is nominated for a couple of other awards. Not sure but I am so glad to see for once a non American movie being so popular.
Samuel L Jackson and Bernie Mac makes a good team for this comedy. Hard ass Samuel and funny man Bernie. It is the last movie Bernie made before he passed away last year so it kinda makes the movie bitter sweet. He was an extraordinary comedian who could make anyone laugh.
The plot is about when The Real Deal soul-singing sensation main man Marcus dies and there is a tribute concert held at the Apollo Theater. So Louis and Floyd his two backup crooners who has not spoken in 30 years need to reunite for the concert. So they have to travel across the country and all kind off stuff happens.
I added a video of one of the songs Samuel L Jackson and Bernie Mac actually sing - A walk in the park

At last a good comedy haven't seen one in a while. Jim Carey is an extrodinary actor and I love is movies. The plot is about a guy who always says no to everything then he meets up with a friend who takes him to one of those motivation speakers who says he has to start to say yes to everything. Now I haven't watched the movie and can't figure out why he would listen but he does and the consequenses are hilarious. Watch the trailer :)
