The great thing about writing crap content

If you have a blog and your blogging sucks you still have a chance at getting your foot in there and winning at it. Human behavior is to reject and mock those that under achieve.

In a world where there is always competition and competition is always on the go, where companies and politicians cant wait to find fault, blogging is a different world. In a race there are always those that come last, that have to cover their faces while going over the finish line, in anything there is disappointment by someone else's achievement but no, not with blogging. Sure you might find here and there the over achiever and the giant blogs throwing a word or two, but these have already so much fame they need not worry about the mockery of others.

If your blog sucks it will just vanish away between the millions of text and images on the internet, someone wont bookmark your site on a social network for the sake of how much it sucks, even if they do you're getting visitors when you should not and visitors are why blogs exist.

My point is if you suck at blogging you can just become better, but you cant be last.

South Africans can still make money and a living online

I talk to a lot of people that say the oppurtunity is just not there to make money in South Africa. Paypal does not even to transfer your money to your South African bank account and 100's of other reasons. But the fact is we can make money on the internet even though we are in South Africa. There are many places that will still send your check even though its South Africa. Google, Adbrite and a lot of other places enables us South Africans to make money online blogging. I will cover a lot of these later and give some tips on how to make money with them.But just know that South Africans can make money online. Please join the feed for updates.

You can make money online by making small niche blogs

Niche blogging is one of my favourite blogging topics. A niche blog is where you set up a blog about a certain topic, maybe a very small topic, a niche blog is basically a topic blog. Choosing a easy to rate for word or niche / topic to blog about is what you really want. If there is a topic you have knowledge about, but its not a huge topic where there are already 100's of small and big niche blogs about it, you might want to consider starting a niche blog about that topic. Its really easy for a small nice blog to make money, but you wont make thousands. To make a lot of money online you need a lot of niche blogs. Niche blogging is fun and you dont have to blog everyday to make money online. Just once a week you could submit a new article to your niche blog. I will cover niche blogging further later on.

Virgin Mobile Cape Town Fashion week 2008 | Media

I wonder if the Virgin Mobile Fashion week will have a media section. Its always better to apply as media than just going with a camera. Most fashion events dont like cameras.

Fromtheold has a Fashion editor but she has not been here in a few weeks. Hopefully she will cover the Cape Town Fashion week.

The only problem is you dont always get in as media and then you can keep your camera in the bag and then there is also no covering the event.

The Cape Town fashion week is one of the biggest fashion events we have here in Cape Town every year and this year fromtheold.com will cover the event in case you cant be there.
