Just today we i read about how the taxi drivers are threatening to disrupt the soccer world cup
Iafrica reported
They quoted a protester, Surren Taxi Association's Ismail Baradon, as saying that if the transport ministry did not respond to their concerns there would be disruptions during the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
So imagine for a moment that the soccer world cup is here and thousands of tourists are here. How easy it would be for some group like the taxi drivers or some workers to use the Soccer world cup as a weapon and threaten it some way.
Another example would be what happened in Mumbai. The tourists was worse off. I know that's a total different criteria but i guess you get the point.
The soccer world cup could be used as a weapon or a point of negotiations with strikers or whoever wants something and that is dangerous.

Anc councillor wants to name streets after famous dictator Fidel Castro as well as Che Guevara. I think they should fire her for being that stupid. Seriously does she have nothing better to do than to walk around in Pretoria trying to rename streets?

In the first place who was the person that put that person in control of anything, hopefully she took the train to work because it would be a danger to civilization to give such a person car keys.

There is a simple reason for wearing leather boots in the wild. Protection. Most scorpions can not sting through thick leather and some dangerous snakes can also not bite through leather. Bushcraft is the term used mostly in America , also known as long term survival skills. Basically living in the wilderness for long periods of time, instead of just trying to survive and get out of the wild bushcrafting is like running to the wild to escape whatever it is that poses a danger. Survival knives is a topic survivalists often disagree on, but a survival knife is really a knife that you use when you need to survive in the wild.
A survival knife can be any knife that you prefer, but because you prefer it does not mean its the best survival knife out there. So what makes a knife a great survival knife in my opinion?
Here it is:
A survival knife must be a fixed blade. When you are doing carpentry or need to cut down a tree or need a knife that can hold strength, you need a fixed blade survival knife.
A survival knife should have a nice grip. This is only for comfort but you really do need one that you are comfortable holding and using.
The other thing is this part in the picture below
The part will keep your fingers safe if you need to stab your knife in a tree or whatever. It blocks your hand from sliding onto the blade and cutting your fingers.
Another detail of the knife is that the top part of the blade as in the picture below:
The top part of the blade should NOT be sharp. As you can see on this knife which is my own survival knife the top part looks like its sharp, but its not. Only from the side it looks lie that. A lot of times you need to push hard on your knife when working with wood or something and having a sharp top causes more of a danger than the great idea behind it.

If you are lost in the wilderness, maybe you were in a group but somehow went away to see something or whatever the situation. If your life is not in immediate danger you should always stop and relax. Think about the situation, dont just keep on walking if you found out you are lost, especially panic.
